Job summary

Enpal is building the next generation of its ERP landscape, moving toward an AI-driven operating model for P2P. As ERP Process Analyst P2P, you will document and improve the Procure-to-Pay landscape in D365 F&O, ensuring machine-readable knowledge for AI agents.

You’ll collaborate with the P2P Process Architect across Finance, Procurement, and Technology. You’ll maintain documentation in Confluence and Signavio, monitor KPIs like invoice automation and cycle time, and contribute to data-quality

Qualifications

• First experience in process analysis or business analysis in an ERP environment.
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes: requisitions, POs, invoice matching, accounts payable and payments.
• Hands‑on experience with D365 F&O or a comparable ERP, ideally in Procurement & Sourcing or Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge of system integration handovers in the P2P chain (e‑procurement, AP automation, payment systems).
• Familiarity with AP automation tools such as Medius or Onventis is a plus.
• Curiosity about AI agents and automation; desire to improve processes.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and collaborative with AP, Procurement, Finance, and Controlling.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain P2P process flows end-to-end: supplier onboarding, PR/PO creation, approvals, goods receipt, invoice matching, AP, and payments.
• Translate process flows into structured, machine-readable formats for AI agents in P2P.
• Maintain process documentation in Confluence and Signavio; keep it current with live system behavior.
• Analyze P2P performance, identify inefficiencies, and quantify business impact.
• Monitor KPIs such as invoice automation rate, PO-based invoice rate, and invoice cycle time; report deviations with root-cause analysis.
• Track Medius AP automation adoption and document resolution logic for training.

What you’ll do

Enpal is building the next generation of its ERP landscape, moving from traditional D365 F&O workflows toward an AI-driven operating model where agents handle invoice matching, AP automation, and payment execution autonomously. The vision: a P2P process that runs itself, with humans focused on exception handling, continuous improvement, and making sure the system stays accurate.

As ERP Process Analyst P2P, you are the operational backbone that makes this possible. You document, analyze, and continuously improve the Procure-to-Pay process landscape in D365 F&O, and you ensure the process knowledge that AI agents consume is accurate, structured, and machine-readable. You work closely with the P2P Process Architect and sit at the intersection of Finance, Procurement, and Technology.

PROCESS DESIGN & DOCUMENTATION

• Document and maintain P2P process flows end-to-end: supplier onboarding, PR/PO creation, approval workflows, goods receipt, invoice matching, AP, and payment runs
• Translate process flows into structured, versioned, machine-readable formats that serve as the knowledge layer for AI agents operating in the P2P domain
• Maintain process documentation in Confluence and Signavio; ensure documentation is always current and reflects live system behavior

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS & KPI MONITORING

• Analyze P2P process performance: identify manual steps, workarounds, and inefficiencies; quantify their business impact
• Monitor KPIs including invoice automation rate, PO-based invoice rate, and invoice cycle time; proactively report deviations and elevate with structured root cause analysis
• Track Medius AP automation adoption: monitor automation rates, identify exception patterns, and document resolution logic for agent training and process improvement

DATA QUALITY & INITIATIVE SUPPORT

• Identify data quality issues affecting P2P (e.g. vendor master data, PO data) and elevate with structured root cause analysis
• Assist in writing Business Requirements Documents for P2P initiatives: structured, evidence-based, and ready for Tech intake
• Support testing and validation activities for P2P-related ERP changes, agent deployments, and releases
• Contribute to the design of agent guardrails and exception-handling logic for automated P2P workflows

What you’ll bring

• First experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a similar role in an ERP environment
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice matching, accounts payable, and payment runs
• Hands‑on experience with D365 F&O or a comparable ERP system, ideally in Procurement & Sourcing or Accounts Payable modules
• Understanding of system integration handovers within the P2P chain (e‑procurement, AP automation, payment systems)
• Familiarity with AP automation or e‑procurement tools such as Medius or Onventis is a plus
• Curiosity about AI agents and automation; you want to understand how agents work and how to make them work better
• Structured working style with strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to collaborate effectively with AP, Procurement, Finance, and Controlling stakeholders
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
