Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Systems is seeking a Continuous Improvement Business Process Specialist II to drive ERP optimization and standardization across the ICS organization. The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Engineering and IS teams to optimize SAP usage, implement best practices, and train users on new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3-7 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, BPM, ERP Systems, Operations Excellence, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience working within SAP.
• Experience leading business process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or business transformation projects.
• Experience facilitating process mapping and business process redesign activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and coach employees in Continuous Improvement fundamentals and NBS Next principles.
• Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement of business processes and operational performance.
• Lead business process optimization initiatives across functional areas including Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Engineering.
• Serve as a business process subject matter expert supporting SAP and ERP process alignment activities.
• Partner with Information Systems and IT teams on ERP deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead business process mapping activities utilizing value stream mapping, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes utilizing ERP system capabilities.
• Support globalization and harmonization of ERP business processes across the ICS organization.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, job aids, and training materials to improve system adoption and user effectiveness.
• Facilitate end-user training and knowledge transfer related to ERP functionality and business process execution.
• Support change management activities associated with business process and system improvements.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify gaps in ERP utilization and develop sustainable solutions.
• Lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost (SQDIPC) metrics.
• Maintain project plans supporting strategic business and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support NBS standardization and best-practice deployment across the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
