Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Moog's enterprise applications in a manufacturing setting. You will work with stakeholders and the Production Engineering & Resilience team to keep platforms running and contribute to future-state adoption.

The role requires hands-on experience with backlog management, incident management, and root-cause analysis, plus fluency in ERP and mainframe processes across ERP modules like supply chain, inventory, and production planning.

Qualifications

• Six or more years as BSA or similar hands-on application support/analysis role.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Manufacturing industry background with experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or planning processes.
• Working knowledge of the mainframe stack—trace a transaction through online screens, programs, DB2 tables, batch jobs, interfaces.
• Experience with at least one major ERP platform (SAP, Oracle, or comparable) and its manufacturing modules—supply chain, inventory, production planning, quality, or financial processes.
• Practical experience with incident management and root cause analysis—resolving real production issues.
• Experience owning and managing a backlog—prioritization and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end assigned business processes and data flows.
• Trace transactions across screens, DB2 tables, batch jobs, and interfaces.
• Lead requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Apply ERP/manufacturing process knowledge to analysis, RCA, and requirements work.
• Support transition from current-state to future-state platforms, including cutover planning.
• Document processes and data flows to support sustainment and transition.
