Job summary

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. is seeking a Materials Specialist in Pennsylvania to support inventory control, expediting shortages, and ERP-driven material transactions in a busy manufacturing environment.

The role collaborates with Scheduler, Production, and Buyers to ensure on-time material flow while performing RFID and labeling tasks and maintaining 5S standards. You will participate in cycle counts, verify material specs for incoming items, and operate forklift and related equipment as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Material Handler preferred.
• Forklift certification and ability to obtain certification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Expedite shortages with Scheduler and Production Supervisor; communicate inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor internal/external shortages; work with Buyer, Scheduler or Production Supervisor to expedite needs.
• Enter and manage inventory transactions (adjustments, transfers) and maintain locations by item.
• Generate, print and release outbound material issues and print order documents.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support drop-off inventory management and verify material specs on incoming material.
