Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is hiring for a Materials Assistant role at our Milwaukee-area facility. You will coordinate parts for manufacturing, operate a forklift, and use our ERP system to track inventory and resolve part availability issues.

Openings on multiple shifts with a focus on 2nd shift; position requires strong safety practices, reliable attendance, and teamwork to support throughput and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and material handling.
• Ability to operate ERP systems to track inventory and parts.
• Strong safety and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate parts for manufacturing departments and support Team Leaders.
• Operate forklift and other PIT/MHE safely.
• Enter data for inventory and manage part availability.
• Assist with cycle counting and shop cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate BOM and parts presentation for each truck.
