Job summary

Hub Group seeks an ERP Director to oversee coordination, status reporting, and stability of Oracle Cloud Financials project work. You will lead the ERP IT team, drive design, configuration, and globally aligned best practices in a highly collaborative Agile setting.

The role requires extensive ERP and SQL expertise, strong leadership, and experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS.
• 10–12 years ERP experience including Oracle Financials Cloud implementations in the last 5 years.
• 10–12 years of ERP configuration experience.
• 10–12 years SQL experience on Oracle or other RDBMS.
• 8+ years in requirements gathering and mapping business processes.
• Experience upgrading ERP applications and applying patches.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.
• Experience with SOA in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP IT team, develop and manage project plans and resources.
• Coach the team to focus on quality, predictability, flow and velocity.
• Design, build, and implement advanced functional/technical solutions.
• Participate in design, development, testing, rollout and support phases.
• Translate functional specs into design specs and obtain approvals.
• Ensure designs align with ERP framework and reusable configurations.
• Perform ERP configuration per approved design.
• Follow SDLC and QA practices to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Contribute to testing strategy and root-cause analyses.
• Partner with stakeholders to support ERP applications.
• Lead monthly/quarter-end financial processes and upgrades assessment.
