Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Lead to design, configure, and support SAP for equipment, production, and plant maintenance. You will lead the SAP configuration workstream, translate requirements into SAP designs, and advise leadership on design choices.

The role requires 7+ years configuring SAP in manufacturing, PP and PM expertise, and familiarity with NRC/DOE/NQA-1 regulatory standards. Location is in-office with travel up to 10-25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years configuring and supporting SAP in manufacturing.
• Experience leading SAP configuration for a functional workstream.
• Experience with SAP PP and SAP PM modules, including equipment master data.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating to SAP config.
• Experience developing and executing test scripts for SAP changes.
• Nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or similarly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure SAP PP and PM modules to support equipment, production, and maintenance processes.
• Design and maintain equipment master data, functional locations, work centers, BOMs, and routings.
• Document configuration decisions and process flows.
• Gather requirements from Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality.
• Test scripts for SAP changes and lead cutover activities.
• Provide end-user training and post-deployment support.

This role is responsible for leading the SAP configuration workstream in the areas of scope, translating business requirements into SAP configuration, and supporting end users. The Lead serves as the SAP subject matter expert for equipment, production, and plant maintenance, delivering hands on configuration and analysis and providing recommendations to leadership on design decisions.
