Job summary

Dynamic-Metals is seeking a Planner & Scheduler in Dayton, OH to support the Planning Department’s daily functions. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, creating work orders, managing material availability, and coordinating with purchasing to prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• AS9100 quality compliance knowledge
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, and MS Office
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and acknowledging customer purchase orders and creating sales orders
• Maintain and update Customer Purchase order log after receipt of orders
• Create work orders to support production schedule and customer orders
• Place raw material orders to ensure material availability
• Provide customer service via phone and email inquiries
• Review and update Open Order Reports as requested
• Receive finished goods into stock and issue material to work orders
• Maintain Outside Service/MRO PO logs and related records
• Back-up duties for Administrative Assistant as needed
• Participate in maintaining quality, safety, and training records
• Other duties as assigned
