Healthy Planet seeks a Senior Manager, ERP & Digital Commerce to own D365 Business Central configurations across merchandising, inventory, and logistics, and to drive data governance and platform evolution for our retail operations.
You will partner with IT and business teams to optimize ERP, enable omnichannel experiences, and lead system integration projects with WMS, POS, and e-commerce platforms. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Location: Hybrid | Full-Time, Permanent Department: Information Technology
Are you a strategic technology leader with deep experience in ERP, digital commerce, and retail systems? Healthy Planet is seeking a Senior Manager, ERP & Digital Commerce to own and evolve the systems that power our retail operations end to end — from item master data and pricing through to inventory, warehouse operations, and omnichannel experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, translating merchandising, supply chain, finance, and operational requirements into scalable system solutions. As a key partner between IT and business teams, you will drive system optimization, ERP evolution, data governance, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives that support our growing retail ecosystem.
You will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, operational efficiency, and successful delivery of technology initiatives across our organization. You will be the trusted partner Operations relies on when systems need troubleshooting, and the person business teams rely on to transform requirements into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Own day-to-day configuration and administration of D365 Business Central across merchandising, inventory, and logistics modules.
Manage promotions, pricing structures, discount rules, and item setup, partnering with Merchandising and Marketing to ensure accurate execution of campaigns.
Oversee warehouse and location configurations, including multi-warehouse setups, replenishment logic, and postal-code-based allocation rules.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for system issues; own the escalation path and ensure business continuity.
Own the item master data lifecycle — creation, validation, enrichment, maintenance, and retirement — against defined data governance standards.
Establish and enforce data quality controls, audit routines, and naming/attribute conventions across ERP, e-commerce, and downstream reporting.
Drive master data cleanup and standardization initiatives that measurably reduce downstream operational errors.
Partner with Digital Marketing and Store Operations to align online and in-store pricing, promotions, and product availability.
Serve as a core team member on our ERP migration program, contributing functional ownership for the merchandising, inventory, and warehouse workstreams.
Support current-state process documentation, fit-gap analysis, and future-state design workshops; help evaluate whether requirements are met through standard functionality, configuration, or custom development.
Own data migration for your domains: define mapping rules between legacy and target systems, lead extraction, cleansing, and deduplication of item, vendor, pricing, and inventory data, and sign off on reconciliation results after each mock load.
Build and execute test scenarios across SIT, UAT, and dry-run cycles; track defects through to resolution with the implementation partner.
Contribute to cutover planning, parallel-run validation, and post-go-live hypercare, including business readiness, super-user training, and updated SOPs.
Manage the day-to-day relationship with system integrators and consultants — reviewing deliverables, challenging scope creep, and escalating risk early.
Lead integration projects between ERP and adjacent systems — WMS, POS, e-commerce, and reporting platforms — including requirements gathering, vendor coordination, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication; report status and risk to senior leadership.
Author functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, and SOPs; train super-users and business teams.
Act as the primary systems partner to Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
Build and maintain operational reporting and KPI dashboards; support demand planning, inventory health, and sell-through analysis.
Identify automation and process-improvement opportunities and build the business case for them.
8+ years of progressive experience in ERP and/or e-commerce systems, with at least 5 years in retail, consumer products, or multi-location wholesale.
Deep, hands-on functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) across inventory, item setup, pricing/promotions, and warehousing.
Demonstrated ownership of master data management and data governance in a high-SKU-count environment.
Proven track record leading system implementation or integration projects end to end — WMS integration, multi-warehouse rollout, or omnichannel fulfillment.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, functional specifications, and system configurations.
Experience coordinating UAT, defect triage, and go-live support across cross-functional stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; comfortable presenting to both warehouse teams and senior leadership.
Exposure to a second major ERP — SAP, NetSuite, or similar — including migration or parallel-run experience.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento or another enterprise e-commerce platform.
Background in demand planning, forecasting, or sales operations — rolling forecasts, end-of-life planning, KPI and margin analysis.
A strategic technology leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges through scalable system solutions.
A collaborative partner who can comfortably work between IT, operations, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and digital teams.
Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to identify data issues and drive process improvements.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
A strong communicator who can translate technical concepts into clear business solutions.
Someone who takes ownership, drives accountability, and continuously looks for ways to improve systems and processes.
Excited by retail innovation, digital transformation, and building technology solutions that support business growth.
Direct ownership of the systems at the core of the business, with a short path to senior leadership.
Comprehensive health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, and employee discount.
Hybrid schedule and support for continued professional development and certification.
