Job summary

Providence is seeking a Manager IS Applications within Enterprise Information Services to lead the Applications team and drive the application roadmap. You will manage budgets, mentor supervisors, and ensure operational readiness across the group.

You will guide strategic plans for a large ERP landscape (Oracle Applications, Infor Lawson) and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver stable, user-friendly systems that support Providence’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, or Science.
• 5 years of Information Services leadership experience.
• 8 years of experience creating and executing strategic plans for highly complex issues; information services operations and support; experience standardizing complex and disparate processes; methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and life cycle.
• Experience in ERP implementations and leading Information Services teams in multiple ERP modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for the IS organization and implement tactical plans for the Applications team.
• Develop, track, and monitor budgets for the Applications team and their project participation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors while maintaining staff competency for daily operations.
• Establish and maintain long-term vendor relationships to define and drive application strategy and roadmap.
