Job summary

Liberty Furniture Industries is hiring an ERP & Applications Engineer to join our IT & Digital team in Atlanta. This hands-on role supports core business systems across finance, operations, sales, and supply chain, focusing on reliability, performance, and integrations with GP, SmartConnect, SQL Server, and Dynamics 365.

You’ll partner with internal teams to design, test, and roll out ERP improvements, optimize data movement, and assist with Power BI reporting while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Experience installing and supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing/retail environment.
• Proven ability to write and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft GP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain internal business applications for availability and performance.
• Act as escalation point for complex application, database, and integration issues.
• Write, review, and optimize SQL Server queries.
• Support integrations between GP and internal systems (APIs or SmartConnect).
• Troubleshoot data movement, integrations, and API workflows.

Liberty Furniture Industries is hiring an ERP & Applications Engineer to join our internal IT & Digital team. This is a hands‑on role focused on supporting and enhancing the business systems our teams rely on every day across finance, operations, sales, and supply chain.

This position supports Liberty’s current Microsoft‑based platforms—Microsoft SQL Server, SmartConnect, and Microsoft Great Plains—while leveraging prior experience supporting Dynamics 365 environments to help inform future‑state planning and platform decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and maintain internal business applications to ensure availability and performance
• Act as an escalation point for complex application, database, and integration issues

• Support integrations between Great Plains and internal systems (ex. APIs or SmartConnect)
• Troubleshoot data movement, integrations, and API‑based workflows

• Collaborate closely with internal teams as a great team player in a fast‑moving environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience supporting Microsoft Great Plains (GP)
• Experience with SmartConnect or similar Microsoft ERP integration tools
• Experience supporting or implementing Dynamics 365 in prior roles (Business Central, Finance & Operations, and/or CRM)
• Experience with web services and APIs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
