Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced ERP Reporting and Analytics Solution Architect to define and lead the reporting, analytics, and financial-data architecture for a large-scale transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform. This role sits at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, Data, Product, Solution Architecture, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, data & analytics)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) or data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end reporting and analytics architecture for the Finance ERP landscape, from transactional reporting in SAP S/4HANA through enterprise data and analytics platforms
• Define reporting patterns and decision criteria for operational, embedded, and enterprise reports and dashboards
• Establish architecture standards for SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA, Databricks, CDS views, and related tools
• Design reusable financial data models covering GL, consolidation, intercompany, subledgers, FX, entities, and hierarchies
• Partner with ERP Product, Engineering, SAP, and implementation partners through architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment
• Evaluate standard SAP content and determine when configuration, CDS extensions, Fiori apps, or analytics tools suffice
• Establish reporting-performance standards for data volumes, refreshes, response times, availability, and period-close
• Develop architecture documents, roadmaps, decision materials, and executive recommendations
