Job summary

Forsyth County Government is seeking a vested inspector to enforce soil erosion and sedimentation control codes on construction sites in Cumming, GA. You will review plans, supervise erosion measures, and enforce compliance with county rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• GSWCC Level 1A Certification preferred or higher.
• Three years of erosion control, inspection, or plan interpretation experience.
• Must possess valid Georgia driver’s license and obtain Level 1B within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial sites for erosion control compliance.
• Review site plans, permits, and blueprints for proper installation.
• Document violations and issue notices or citations as needed.
• Coordinate with builders, developers, and inspectors to resolve issues.
