Job summary

Flexjet is seeking a Fleet Technical Manager specializing in avionics to lead maintenance activities for Embraer Phenom 300, Praetor 500/600, Challenger, and Gulfstream fleets from our Cleveland facility. You will drive dispatch reliability and coordinate with OEMs and vendors to enhance fleet availability.

The role requires strong avionics expertise, FAR knowledge, and a track record in cross-functional problem solving under pressure.

Qualifications

FAA A&P license preferred or proven avionics background.
Bachelor’s degree in related field desired; and/or 10 years of aviation experience.
Minimum 5 years of fleet avionics experience preferred.
Must have working knowledge of FARs.
General and Business Aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise to control center support groups upon request.
Oversee maintenance activities for scheduled and unscheduled work and follow-up on delays.
Drive improvements in availability, dispatch reliability, and operating costs.
Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to resolve fleet reliability issues.
Troubleshoot complex avionic issues with maintenance providers.
Review OEM service bulletins and inspection programs.
Report to the Lead Fleet Technical Manager.
