Select Physical Therapy in West Palm Beach is hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist to support an industrial setting. The role involves testing (POET) about 15 hours per week, working with a physical therapist, and preparing timely reports.

PRN mornings, 2 days per week with potential for more days. The position requires an organized individual with a BS degree, CPR certification, and knowledge of body mechanics.

Formación

• Complete Post Offer Employment Testing requirements.
• Prepare and complete documentation for services.
• Maintain regular communication with client and leadership.
• Assist therapists in rehabilitation procedures and organize scheduling and records.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Coordinate center operations for scheduling ancillary services and OSHA coordination.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Overview

Select Physical Therapy is currently hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. New hire to perform job-specific testing (POET) approximately 15 hours/week. Working directly with a physical therapist. Must be highly organized and complete reports in a timely and accurate fashion. PRN morning role - 2 days per week with potential for 2 full days per week.

Position:Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: 2670 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach 33406

Type of Employment: -PRN morning role 2 days per week

Schedule: PRN, Approx 15 hours per week as needed

Compensation:$25.00 - $30.00, hourly, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Completing necessary requirements for Post Offer Employment Testing
• Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services
• Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of lifting body mechanics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in testing protocols
