Job summary

Providence is seeking an Injury Prevention and Ergonomics Analyst to lead regional injury prevention and ergonomics programs in a hybrid-work environment. The role emphasizes project management, collaboration with multiple departments, and data-driven risk reduction initiatives to improve caregiver safety.

The position supports safety compliance, training delivery, and inter-facility service optimization, with a focus on healthy, high-reliability practices and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Within 2 years of hire Certification in ergonomics or safe patient handling.
• 3 years work experience related to ergonomics, injury prevention and safety or healthcare setting (i.e. RN, PT, OT, exercise physiologist).

Responsibilities

• Manage programs for injury prevention, reduction and promotion of health at a regional level.
• Provide project management to new and existing programs to decrease caregiver harm through engineering, administrative, and work practice controls.
• Collaborate with IP&E Managers, IP&E Senior Analysts, Supervisors, Coordinators, Caregiver Health, Workers' Compensation and Return to Work, and local leadership to provide efficient and cost effective services and training.
• Perform basic data analysis to identify injury trends, prioritize risk reduction, develop risk reduction strategies and implement interventions.
