Job summary

Amazon is offering a paid part-time 16-week Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS) Internship in its Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team. The program focuses on on-site injury prevention, ergonomic training, and proactive safety at a Fulfillment Center.

Start January 2027, with reporting to the Site WHS Manager. Ideal candidates are Athletic Training students enrolled in a CAATE program, with BOC eligibility and current BLS/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in CAATE-accredited athletic training program and eligible for BOC within 6 months.
• Current BLS and First Aid certifications from the AHA or Red Cross.
• Eligible to sit for the BOC during the internship or within 6 months of internship end date.

Responsibilities

• Support onsite injury prevention initiatives and ergonomic training for associates.
• Analyze injury data to identify trends and design interventions.
• Collaborate with WHS and operations to integrate prevention strategies into daily workflows.
