Job summary

Amazon is seeking Athletic Training students for the Injury Prevention Specialist Internship. This paid, onsite 16-week program starts January 2027 at a Fulfillment Center in San Marcos, Texas, reporting to the Site WHS Manager.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program.
Eligible to sit for the BOC during the internship or within 6 months of internship end date.
Must have one of the following: BLS certification AND First Aid certification OR Adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification.

Responsibilities

Proactive Prevention - Drive injury prevention through data analysis and evidence-based solutions; design ergonomic interventions based on risk findings.
Wellness Education - Develop and deliver ergonomic education and coaching to empower associates.
Team collaboration - Work with the site IPS team and WHS to improve safety and work processes.
Submit a student project related to ergonomic improvement and injury reduction at internship end.
