Job summary

WorkCare Inc. in La Verne, CA is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer to join our Occupational Health team.

The role focuses on injury prevention, clinical care, and wellness programs for employee populations; you will work under physicians and coordinate with the Injury Management Program. Typical schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri 8:30am–5:00pm; hourly pay range is $36.00-$44.00 with benefits including pro-rated PTO and 401K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in orthopedics, wellness, or industrial/occupational health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid first aid and medical care for employees.
• Coordinate care with Injury Management Program and physician escalation.
• Deliver episodic care and medical consultation per guidelines.
• Promote injury prevention through ergonomic methods.
• Perform on-the-job coaching to improve physical performance.
• Maintain clinic data and reports.
• Support Health Fairs and wellness initiatives.
