Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Station Design Engineer to design and optimize high-efficiency workstations for assembly operations. In this role, you will develop 2D and 3D layouts, specify essential tooling, and ensure ergonomics and productivity are prioritized on the production line.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Direct experience supporting vehicle assembly line design or new model launch programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D workstation layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Ensure tooling and equipment integration aligns with broader line layout.
  • Perform hands-on field checks for layout accuracy and resolve interference issues.
  • Specify fixtures and tooling that optimize product quality and ergonomics.
  • Collaborate with industrial engineers to balance line workloads and validate cycle times.
  • Participate in pilot builds and support updates to documentation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on ergonomics and waste reduction.
