Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team in Suffolk, VA seeks an Injury Prevention Specialist to lead onsite injury prevention and proactive safety at the Fulfillment Center. You will collaborate with the Site WHS Manager and AAs to improve movement techniques through ergonomic training and coaching.

Core duties include driving injury prevention via data analysis, designing targeted ergonomic interventions, conducting risk assessments, and delivering engaging education to associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC or State).
• Valid card evidencing First Aid, CPR, and AED (AHA/Red Cross).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead injury prevention through data analysis and ergonomic interventions.
• Design and conduct workplace evaluations to identify hazards.
• Develop and deliver ergonomic education and coaching for associates.
• Partner with operations to integrate prevention into daily workflows.
