Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Nursing Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Pharmacy and Lab for our Akron, OH location. This role supports treatment plans, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, recovery, and client education.

The schedule is 7a-7:30p on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Ideal candidates hold a State Registered Veterinary Technician license and have prior nursing or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
• Prior nursing or critical care experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, CRIs, unit conversions) and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver organized rounds and discuss cases.
• Evaluate incoming patients and prioritize based on assessment.
• Coordinate with the patient care team on treatment plans and nursing care.
