Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians in emergency and general practice. The role focuses on patient care, triage, diagnostics, and accurate client communication to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of veterinary experience, a current Texas Veterinary Technician license, and strong teamwork and empathy in high-stress situations. Night/weekend/on-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a veterinary professional.
• Current Texas Veterinary Technician License (required).
• Ability to follow Veterinarian plan of care and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Emergency veterinarians to care for incoming emergency and hospitalized patients.
• Administer proper dosages for fluids, medications, and injections as directed by the Veterinarian.
• Record and maintain patient charts and communicate treatment plans to clients.
