Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians and improve patient care in a busy practice. You will assist with anesthesia, diagnostic testing, and client communication while maintaining accurate medical records.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in veterinary medicine, experience in general and ER settings, and a current VT license. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a veterinary professional.
• Experience in general practice and ER/specialty settings preferred.
• Current Veterinary Technician License must be provided prior to start date.
• Ability to follow Veterinarian plans and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support Veterinarian to maximize time and efficiency.
• Triage and provide patient care per established protocols.
• Perform anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, tests, and invoicing.
• Record patient data accurately in EMR and medical charts.
• Communicate treatment plans and post-treatment care to clients.
