ER Veterinary Supervisor - Day Shift

Position Overview: Reporting to the Hospital Manager, responsible for nursing excellence by supervising the clinical team workflow and collaboration. The shift primarily works the day shift and will include weekends, with potential changes based on hospital needs.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years experience in a clinical Nursing/Technician role preferred
  • 2+ years experience in leadership and/or emergency roles is a plus
  • Positive, energetic, with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoy teaching and coaching

What you'll do:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the clinical team
  • Supervise nurses, technicians, and assistants
  • Assist with scheduling shifts
  • Manage nursing payroll budgets in partnership with the Hospital Manager
  • Maintain EVCC culture & values
  • Interview & onboard new hires, support offboarding as needed
  • Work with hospital leadership and participate in weekly meetings
  • Address patient care issues & interpersonal conflicts
  • Implement nursing guidelines, policies, and projects
  • Ensure team has necessary supplies and tools
  • Bridge gaps and unify team members
  • Collaborate with Medical Director to maintain nursing standards
  • Incorporate feedback from doctors and identify process improvements
  • Foster a learning culture and support team growth
  • Support training and credential maintenance
  • Participate in clinical meetings & 1:1 check-ins
  • Drive development plans and performance improvements
  • Organize student internships and externships
  • Support training for new ER Nurse/Technician candidates
