• 2–3 years of experience in an ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, take weight and vitals upon arrival.
• Triage, perform physical exams, and assist with medications under supervision.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Perform laboratory tests and radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness of hospital and infection control.
• Oversee patient feeding, grooming and overnight care.
• Adhere to safety, wellness regulations and directions from DVM/LVT.
