Job summary

SP+ is seeking a friendly, safety‑mocused Valet for the OHSU/DCH Emergency Room operation in Portland. The role features a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour, plus tips where applicable.

You will interact with patients and visitors, process vehicles, and ensure a smooth, compassionate guest experience. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, can drive a manual transmission (preferred), and is able to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a manual transmission is a plus.
• Availability for special shifts (nights/weekends) if needed.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to problems.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and understand memos and emails.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on our Promise by resolving client requests and concerns efficiently and proactively.
• Inspect every vehicle before parking, noting any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, hazards, or policy violations to management.
• Know area streets/landmarks to ensure a seamless experience.
• Arrive in uniform, on time, and ready to work.
• Remain in full uniform for the shift and assist with additional duties.
