Responsibilities

• Performs receptionist and support duties on the unit; handles calls, greets visitors, and directs inquiries.
• Greets customers, patients, physicians, and staff, facilitating communication within the unit.
• Schedules appointments and tests, details patient room setup, and orients to phones and TVs.
• Coordinates admissions, discharges, transfers, and changes within the unit.
• Maintains a neat, organized work area; stocks supplies and equipment; processes repair requests.
• Manages supplies, updates charts, and reports safety hazards or defective equipment.
