Job summary

Roshal Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for Nashville, TN, with full-time and PRN options. The role entails performing ultrasound studies in ER settings across hospital and freestanding facilities, with opportunity for travel and local assignments.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, RDMS certification (AB/OB preferred), BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification (AB or OB preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Able to work independently with strong interpersonal communication.
• Comfort with abdominal, OB & vascular scans.
• Ability to use mobile devices and apps.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to stay calm in busy or emergency settings.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Adherence to safety, attendance, punctuality and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies per accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly to work-related calls.
• Contact facility with estimated arrival time and arrive within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas per client standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Document work processes as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
