Qualifications
- One year of recent ER RN experience.
- Current RN license in good standing per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
Responsibilities
- Rapid triage and initial assessment of patients.
- Explain procedures to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
- Document patient conditions and nursing interventions.
- Record vital signs and respond to deviations.
- Respond to life-threatening emergencies per protocols.
- Document assessments and outcomes in EMR.
- Educate patients and families as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
