Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ER travel nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Department in Rock Island, IL. This 13-week travel assignment involves 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts and tax-free stipend details to be confirmed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care ED experience and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and patient/family education in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience in ED.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, NRP, TNCC certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patient status.
• Perform wound cleaning and dressing as needed.
• Provide IV therapy and maintain medical supplies.
• Document patient information and vital signs accurately.
• Assist with triage and patient/family education.
