Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a Union Gap, WA assignment. The ER travel RN will assess and triage in a high‑acuity ED, administer care per physician instruction, and collaborate with a diverse care team.

Requirements include 1–2 years of acute care experience and ER certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP). The role involves 12‑hour evenings shifts and a 13‑week contract with 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ER travel nursing requires ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIH, TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document patient history, allergies and vital signs.
• Monitor and address patients' emotional and physical well-being.
