Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in a fast-paced ER and current ACLS/BLS/PALS with NIH certification.

The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Responsibilities include triage, patient evaluation, IV therapy, wound care, documentation, and patient-family education under physician instructions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience for ER travel nurses.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
