Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a practical nursing program or equivalent coursework approved by a state board.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse License.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience accepted.
• Demonstrated knowledge of disease state management, patient assessment, and clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care based on orders and care plan.
• Gathers data, documents nursing process and plan of care.
• Collaborates with Registered Nurse to plan patient care and discharge teaching.
• Performs nursing skills appropriate for patient population and unit standards.
