Community Health Network is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to greet and orient patients to the care area, perform cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation, and support security access by monitoring cameras and answering entrance phones.

The role involves providing patient care as directed, collaborating with the care team, and participating in a one-week training period to ensure readiness for fast-paced emergency environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed arrhythmia recognition course as assigned.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift.
• Must be able to attend one week of full-time training.

Responsibilities

• Greets and orients patients to the patient care area.
• Performs cardiac monitoring testing and rhythm interpretation.
• Provides security access to and from the Emergency Department by monitoring cameras and answering entrance phones.
• Provides patient care services as stated to the patient.
• Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.
