Community Health Systems, Inc. Crestview, FL seeks an ER Technician to provide bedside support in the Emergency Department under licensed staff.

You will assist with patient care, maintain a clean, organized, and stocked environment, and help ensure efficient patient flow and safety. The role requires completing Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses and preferred CNA/EMT/BLS certifications.

Competenze

• Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses completed.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care in the emergency department with clinical procedures under supervision.
• Assists with patient transport to and from units and discharge destinations.
• Maintains infection control and restocks supplies; ensures equipment is operational.
• Communicates with patients, families and care team; reports changes promptly.
• Documents care activities in the EMR system accurately.
• Responds to emergencies; assists with tasks to ensure patient safety.
• Uses PPE and adheres to safety protocols.
• Performs clerical tasks to support unit operations as needed.
• Collaborates with ancillary services and external agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
