Job summary

Methodist Health System in Dallas is seeking an ER Technician I to deliver basic patient care and assist with direct patient care to patients, families, and staff in the Emergency Department. You will assist with therapeutic treatments ordered by physicians and support discharge and patient education.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, multiple certifications (MA/CNA/CMA/LVN/NCT/EMT-B and BLS; ACLS within 90 days), and about one year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• MA, CNA, CMA, LVN, NCT, EMT-B certification or diploma.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of work-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care in the ER as ordered by the physician.
• Operate laboratory equipment, assist with patient discharge and education.
