Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current EMT-P certification (state license) or National EMT-P certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of work-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care.
• Perform therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician on duty.
• Operate laboratory equipment as required.
• Assist with patient discharge and education.
