You will assist registered nurses, provide direct patient care, and help coordinate patient flow within a fast-paced emergency department, ensuring safety and comfort for patients and families.

The ideal candidate will have emergency/urgent care experience or college education, current BCLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills to support high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year emergency/urgent care/nursing assistant experience or college education equivalent.
• Maintains BCLS certification.
• EMT licensure preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to evaluate the criticality of patient needs.
• Must possess superior customer relation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including assisting with comfort measures and documenting observations.
• Coordinates patient flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and interdepartmental communication.
• Maintains professional relationships with patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
