The Emergency Room Technician at Trinity Health provides non-licensed direct patient care under RN supervision, serving neonate to geriatric patients and supporting the healthcare team with patient, equipment, and supply care. days - 7am - 7pm, 3 shifts per week and weekend rotation
The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.
High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.
Current BCLS required.
Minimun one (1) year experience in a clinical setting. Previous nursing assistant experience.
