Job summary

Gunnison Valley Health's Urgent Care Clinic in Gunnison, CO is seeking compassionate staff to join the Emergency Services team. The role supports RN-led procedures, assists patients and families with daily activities, and delivers age-appropriate care across urgent and emergent settings.

Requirements

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Must have completed an IV Certification course

Responsibilities

We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services. As part of the Emergency Services teamyou will:

• Work with with Registered Nurse to complete procedures to support therapeutic or diagnostic interventions
• Taking primary accountability in assisting the patient and family with activities of daily living
• Providing age appropriate patient care to continually support the comfort and satisfaction of patients and families

Physical Requirements

Occasionally (1-33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs, lifting (0-20) lobs, carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (25-50) lbs

Frequently (34-66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering

Continuously (37-100%) - must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: $20.84 - $25.53/hr, depending on experience.

Full Time staff are automatically enrolled in 401A plan as of date of hire.

Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.

Short-term and long-term disability: All active employees working 60 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
