Job summary

Gunnison Valley Health’s GVH Urgent Care Clinic is looking for staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality urgent care in Gunnison, CO. You’ll work with a Registered Nurse to support procedures and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and must have completed an IV Certification. The role includes on-site duties and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Work with Registered Nurse to complete procedures to support therapeutic or diagnostic interventions
• Take primary accountability in assisting the patient and family with activities of daily living
• Provide age appropriate patient care to continually support the comfort and satisfaction of patients and families

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally (1-33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs, lifting (0-20) lobs, carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (25-50) lbs

Frequently (34-66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering

Continuously (37-100%) - must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: $20.84- $25.53/hr, depending on experience.

Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.

Short-term and long-term disability: All active employees working 60 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
