Job summary

Ideal candidates have completed technical nursing/EMT/Phlebotomy/MA programs and 0–1 year of clinical experience; CNA or EMT/Phlebotomy certifications are preferred. Strong communication and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses required
• Certified Nursing Assistant, certified Basic EMT, certified Phlebotomist, or certified Medical Assistant preferred
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department under supervision
• Assist with patient transport safely and promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and stock supplies
• Communicate with patients, families, and care team effectively
• Document patient care in the EMR accurately and efficiently
• Respond to emergencies and support care team as needed
• Follow PPE and safety protocols to protect all parties
• Assist with clerical tasks and department administration as needed
• Collaborate with ancillary services for seamless patient care
