Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is hiring an Emergency Room Tech to support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, under delegated tasks from the RN or Physician.

You will conduct selected diagnostics, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide clerical and cleaning support to the unit. Strong teamwork and adherence to patient safety are required in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

• High school credentials and completion of EMT/MA/CNA/LPN or nursing education.
• CPR/BLS required upon hire; WA certifications may be required.
• Duties include clinical tasks, patient transport, and unit support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Demonstrate competency in delivery of care and clinical techniques including basic airway management, CPR, vital signs, ECG.
• Support patient transport and lifting and provide clerical and cleaning support to the unit.
• Execute delegated tasks from RN or Physician and contribute to a safe, efficient environment.
