Job summary

Emerus Health System is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect data, take vitals, and assist with patient treatments while maintaining safety and privacy.

The role involves collaboration with the charge nurse and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow, adherence to protocols, and high-quality care in a small-format hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Position requires fluency in English; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vital signs.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/COLA regs.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care and charge nurse guidance.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control; provide a safe environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge; travel to all facility locations.
