Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and Providers with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Prepare and assist procedures such as suturing and cast application.
• Assist patients as needed.
• Recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias and abnormal vital signs and report to RN/Provider.
• Adhere to safety regulations and standard precautions.
• Document patient care performed.
• Interact with patients and families to ensure quality experiences.
• Transport patients and supplies.
• Clean equipment and restock supplies as required.
• Assist in ordering routine equipment and maintain ER stock.
• Maintain department cleanliness and prep rooms between patients.
