Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking per diem staff for the Gloucester, MA area within the Addison Gilbert Hospital emergency services team. You will perform essential clinical tasks, assist physicians and nurses, and support lab and patient care activities as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS-AHA required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, crutch walking, ADLs and post-mortem care.
• Performs lab testing and specimen collection; documents results in the medical record.
• Performs vital signs and documents interventions.
• Performs visual acuity testing and reports results to the nurse/ED attending.
• Assists physicians and nurses; supports clerical and receptionist duties.
