Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support emergency care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help deliver patient care, assist with procedures, and contribute to a calm, safe ED environment.

Qualified candidates include CNAs or nursing students with relevant clinical rotations or experience; EMT or ER clinical exposure is a plus. Basic computer skills and patient-centered focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with a clinical rotation or equivalent experience.
• One year of clinical care experience or EMT/ER clinical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency care procedures under RN supervision.
• Support patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care in the emergency setting.

Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this ED Tech position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Required: Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience
Preferred:

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Emergency patient care experience
• EKG experience
• Phlebotomy experience

Pay Range:
$19.50 - $26.24
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
