Job summary

Trinity Health Corp. is seeking an ED Tech to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Ontario on a PRN mixed shift. This part-time role supports clinical staff with direct patient care under RN supervision and handles related clerical tasks.

Qualified candidates are CNAs or EMTs certified in Oregon, with BLS; six months of CNA/EMT experience and acute care exposure are preferred; ACLS/PALS are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Oregon or certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the State of Oregon -OR- the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• Six months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred.
• Recent experience working in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing direct patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Additional duties include all related clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination.
