Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Capable of collecting patient data and documenting care per policy.
• Able to handle frequent unpleasant sights/smells and difficult patient/family behavior.
• Must comply with EMTALA, DNV and CMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN with data collection and patient assessment.
• Monitor vital signs in triage or back and document care.
• Support patient throughput and customer service.
• Participate in orientation and preceptorship for ED staff and students.
